Equine therapy is integral to the well-being your horse.

Using various hands-on approaches, equine therapy encompasses massage, chiropractic (realignment), trigger-point therapy, joint mobilization, acupressure, and anything that assists with the reintegration of muscle, joint, and bone therapy through physical touch.

My Approach to Equine Therapy

My approach to working with horses has developed through years of study, hands-on experience, and a deep respect for the horse’s body and nervous system.

While many people know me through my background in equine chiropractic, my sessions integrate a range of therapeutic approaches to support each horse more completely.

My training includes:
• Equine Chiropractic
• Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy
• Fascial Release Techniques
• Rehabilitation Support
• Physio / Kinesiology Taping
• SureFoot Pads for balance, proprioception, and nervous system regulation

Rather than applying a single technique, I work with the individual horse in front of me, combining approaches based on what their body is communicating. Horses often develop layers of compensation across muscles, fascia, posture, and the nervous system. By addressing these layers, sessions can help release tension, restore balance, and improve overall comfort and movement.

I work with a wide range of horses, including performance horses, pleasure horses, seniors, and those recovering from injury.

Every horse tells a story through their body. My role is to listen, interpret, and support them in returning to a more balanced state.

Massage

Massage for horses can alleviate sore, stiff, or aching muscles in your horse.

Realignment

When a vertebrae is out of alignment, “stuck”, or restricting natural movements, the practice of gentle touch can assist mobility in the ligaments and muscles by releasing the vertebrae and placing it into a more favourable comfort zone - allowing the horse easier movement.

Joint Mobilization

Incorporating strength and flexibility exercises into athletic training provides dynamic mobilization of joints and can be used as a preventative method for injuries and relief for stiff or aching muscles.
